Placing on the market and/or putting into service of radio equipment
Radio equipment may be placed on the market and/or put into service and used in the Republic of Croatia only if it complies with the essential requirements identified in Article 5. of Ordinance on radio equipment and the other relevant conditions of that Ordinance, and when it is properly installed, maintained and used for its intended purpose.
The manufacturer or the person responsible for placing radio equipment on the market of the Republic of Croatia shall provide consumers and other end-users with instructions and safety information in the Croatian language. Instructions shall include the information required to use radio equipment in accordance with its intended use. In the case of radio equipment intentionally emitting radio waves information on frequency bands in which equipment operates and maximum radio-frequency power transmitted. Instructions shall also include a warning of potential restrictions concerning the use of radio equipment and/or the need to obtain a permit for using radio waves. Each item of radio equipment shall be accompanied by a copy of the EU declaration of conformity or by a simplified EU declaration of conformity (with the exact internet address where the full text of EU declaration of conformity can be obtained). Before radio equipment is made available on the market in the Republic of Croatia it shall be affixed with CE marking.
