HAKOM participated in informing the citizens about their consumer rights on Wednesday in Dubrovnik

The Consumer Rights Week organized by the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship was celebrated from March 8 to 15, 2018 and stakeholders in consumer protection policy in the Republic of Croatia participated in education and in informing the citizens.
ZAGREB, March 14, 2018 –In Dubrovnik, on March 15, from 2 p.m. to 6.p.m, citizens were informed about their consumer rights. All information on consumer protection legislation and how to implement these tips were provided to citizens from various areas of consumer protection. This event was organized under the Consumer Protection Week, held from 8 to 15 March 2018 in seven Croatian cities and HAKOM took part as the national regulatory authority responsible for regulating the market for electronic communications and postal and railway services. Consumer Protection Week in the Republic of Croatia was celebrated in Čakovec, Slavonski Brod, Vinkovci, Pula and Zadar. The closing ceremony took place in Zagreb on March 15. The organizer of the celebration was the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts and in cooperation with other bodies, stakeholders of consumer protection policy in the Republic of Croatia it participated in education and informing the citizens. In addition to informing citizens about their consumer rights, the businessmen were informed on consumer protection law. We invited citizens to visit info desks and be informed about their rights or ask for advice if they have a problem with merchants or providers of various public services.
