HAKOM: As of July 1, special categories of users can turn to a new or retain the existing user packages for phone services

Special categories of users will have possibility to choose between packages with new prices or to select a package from the previous offer, i.e. the existing system of special discounts for socially vulnerable users - the users with special social needs.
ZAGREB, June 2, 2017 – At the meeting held on April 26, 2017, the Council of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) passed the decision regarding the prices of publicly available voice telephony services tailored to the needs of socially endangered groups of the end-users of special categories of users (the War and Military invalids, Domestic Civil Invalids, members of the close family of killed and missing persons, homeland War veterans and associations and persons with disabilities - members of the Association). The decision brought by the Croatian Telecom d.d. (HT) emphasizes that instead of the existing a new price list will be applied for special categories of users as of July 1, 2017. In the meantime HT reported to HAKOM that during the implementation, due to technical reasons, the completely new price list will not be applied but the choice will be enabled by means of special categories of users. The customers entitled to these packages will be able to choose between the new or existing offer on their own.
A) the existing system of special discounts for the socially vulnerable users - users with special social needs (HT's currently valid pricelist entitled: Discounts for special categories of users can be found on (www.hrvatskitelekom.hr) and
B) a new system of discounts for socially vulnerable users - the users with special social needs, approved by HAKOM ‘s decision of 26.4.2017. (Class: UP / I-344-01 / 17-07 / 01, ur. No .: 376/10 / 17-3).
