Public Tender on RF Spectrum for Digital Terrestrial Television

Tender Offers may be submitted to HAKOM no later than June 14, 2019 until 10 a.m. (CET), regardless of how the offer is delivered.
ZAGREB, April 18, 2019 - The Council of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) brought the decision on Public Tender for granting the individual license for radio frequency spectrum in 470-694 MHz band in order to provide services regarding the management of three digital terrestrial television networks in the Republic of Croatia. It refers to multiplexes M1, M2 and L1 (
link).
A new DVB-T2 standard and h.265 / HEVC coding system will be used referring to the above-mentioned multiple control. The transition to the DVB-T2 standard and the h.265 / HEVC system will enable a continued broadcasting of existing television content (HDTV) for all activities, introduction of new contents as well as the RF spectrum allocation of second digital dividend for further development of mobile services.

Tender Offer should be submitted to HAKOM no later than June 14, 2019 until 10 a.m. (CET) regardless of how the offer is delivered.
The decision on granting the license will be brought no later than July 12, 2019.
