ZAGREB, February 26, 2019 - The deadline for submitting a request for public call for issuing a radio frequency spectrum license for public mobile electronic communications in the Republic of Croatia in the 2500-2690 MHz radio frequency band has expired.
The Public Call was open from January 25, 2019 to 24 February 2019. The requests of the company A1 Croatia d.o.o., Hrvatski Telekom d.d. and Tele2 d.o.o have been received within the deadline.
Pursuant to the terms of Public Call, the subject of the assignment is 2x70 MHz paired spectrum and 50 MHz unipolar spectrum. An individual could report for a maximum of 2x20 MHz paired spectrum, while the limit for the unipolar spectrum was not determined.
It refers to the frequency spectrum in which it is possible to provide communication services based on technological neutrality, in accordance with the applicable
allocation plan for 2500-2690 MHz.
The applicants were able to express the desired spectrum location for which they applied, but the decision to locate the requested part of the radio frequency spectrum was ultimately passed by HAKOM.
HAKOM's final decision on the allocation of radio frequency spectrum which is the subject of this public call will be followed by the analysis and verification of the request, which is expected in the first half of March this year.
