HAKOM responsible for FM Transmitter and WAS / RLAN Systems in 5470 - 5725 MHz Frequency Band

HAKOM will be soon carrying out the process of extraordinary technical inspection of FM radio stations and the usage of the 5470-5725 MHz band pursuant to the general license.
Zagreb, September 13, 2018 – In order to carry out the effective radio spectrum management, as a naturally limited property of the Republic of Croatia, inter alia and within its competence, HAKOM is implementing the radio frequency spectrum control, technical inspection and other radio measurements in order to confirm that radio communication devices are operating pursuant to the permits and other norms.
The holder of a radio frequency spectrum license shall be obliged to ensure the operation of the radio station in accordance with the conditions specified in the permit and putting into operation radio stations shall be reported to HAKOM if required by the license. In the forthcoming period, HAKOM plans to carry out the extraordinary technical control of the FM radio stations of all commercial broadcasters and HRTs in Croatia in more than 650 radio stations in 155 FM radio analogue radio networks of commercial broadcasters and HRT public services.
