Act on the Cyber Security of the Key Service Operators and Digital Services Providers adopted

Act on the Cyber Security of the Key Service Operators and Digital Services Providers was published in the "Official Gazette"  on 18. July 2018, and it shall come into force on the eighth day after its publication.
 
ZAGREB, July 24, 2018 - At its session held on July 6, 2018, the Croatian Parliament passed the Act on the Cybernetic Security on Key Operators and Digital Services Providers which was published in the "Official Gazette" on July 18, 2018. The aim of the Act is to ensure a high level of cyber security in providing services, important for carrying out the  key social and economic activities. The law stipulates the procedures and measures for achieving this goal, the competences and powers of the competent sectoral bodies, the unique national contact points, the bodies responsible for prevention and protection against incidents and the conformity assessment body, the enforcement supervision and the misdemeanour provisions.
