HAKOM’s representatives discussed the roles and organizational aspects of this independent regulatory body in the electronic communications, postal and rail services markets.
ZAGREB, January 15, 2018 The students of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb payed a visit to the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM). On this occasion, HAKOM’s representatives discussed the roles and organizational aspects of this independent regulatory body in the electronic communications, postal and rail services markets.
A study visit was an opportunity for students to get directly acquainted with the position of public law regulators in the legal order and to harmonize theoretical knowledge with practical experience, useful for their further study of legal science and preparation for future occupation. The students visited HAKOM’s business premises in particular control and data centre. The role and work of HAKOM were presented to the students by Domagoj Maričić, Head of Legal Affairs Department Kristina Bertović and Natalija Boltužić, Council Secretaries, Danijel Vidaković, Head of the Radiofrequency Spectrum Control Department, Damir Sušanj, Head of IT department.
