ECC PT1 deals with the area of IMT (International Mobile Telecommunications) referring to the radio frequency planning and regulatory development for the existing and new generation of mobile communications.
Zagreb, December 11, 2017 - Sophia Antipolis in France is hosting the 57th ECC PT1 meeting dealing with the IMT (International Mobile Telecommunications) . The meeting will take place from 11 to 15 December on the topic of radio frequency planning and regulatory development for existing and new generation of mobile communications. The meeting is organized by the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT), the ECC (Electronic Communications Committee) and 118 representatives of the European regulatory bodies, administrations and industry participated in the meeting.
The most important topics are related to the harmonization of the 3400-3800MHz and 26GHz bandwidths for the implementation of upcoming 5G technology, the development of 5G technical conditions in these RF bands and compatibility with other services outside these belts, and future development of the regulatory framework for narrowband and broadband communication machines (M2M - Machine-To-Machine Communications) and IoT-Internet of Things. Krešimir Mazor is representing the CroatianRegulatory Authority for Network Industries.
