During the conference, within the scope of panel discussion various topics from the railway sector were discussed.
ZAGREB, 8 December 2016 - Following the invitation of the organizer the European Commission and RailNet Europe (RNE - Organization of the European Infrastructure Manager and Bodies for Allocation of Railway Infrastructure Capacities), Vienna hosted the 4
th European Rail Freight Day.
Within the scope of panel discussion various topics from the railway sector were discussed during the conference such as: Rotterdam Ministerial Declaration, the incident in the Rastatt tunnel on the Rhine River- Corridor Rhine-Alpine, the interoperability of the rail system, the utilization of capacity in freight transport, the monitoring of freight trains and future rail freight transportation.
HAKOM was represented by Željka Grgec, Railway Services Department Manager, Dragica Flam, Senior Legal Affairs Expert and Kristijan Solina , Senior Railway Affairs Expert.
