ZAGREB, October 31, 2017 - Following the invitation of the organizer  Nonprofit Professional Association (IEEE Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. the meeting entitled "Admission and Advancement (A & A) Senior Member Review Panel"  was  held on October 7, 2017 in Taiwan. The new IEEE Senior Members with at least ten years' experience and significant results in the profession were elected at the meeting. Croatia's IEEE section is richer for 16 new senior members, with a total membership of around 10% worldwide. For new IEEE Senior Members Mr. Dražen Lučić, President of the Council at HAKOM and Željko Tabaković, Assistant Director at HAKOM.
 
The non-profit professional association of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (Inc.) is the world's largest professional association. It was founded in 1884 on the ideas of a few scientists with the aim to monitor the development of electrical engineering. By means of its members, the IEEE is the leading authority in the broad technical field of computer science, biomedical engineering and telecommunications, starting with the field  of energetics, consumer electronics and many other areas.
