HAKOM’s Experts at the Workshop organized by the European Commission in Madrid

The objective of the workshop was the accomplishment of better results of each individual Member State in achieving the goals of the Digital Agenda 2020 as well as the strategic goals of broadband infrastructure development.
ZAGREB, October 19, 2017 – Following the invitation of the organizer the European Commission, Madrid hosted the fourth workshop on Broadband Competence Offices (BCO) on technology neutrality in the projects of broadband access development. In addition to the presentations of Spanish models in the project preparation and implementation, the experts from the European Commission (DG COMP) held lectures on the correlation of technological neutrality and state aid, as well as the impact and mapping process, public procurement and obligation of wholesale terms. The objectives of the workshop was the accomplishment of better results at the national level of each individual Member State in achieving the goals of the Digital Agenda 2020, and the strategic goals of broadband infrastructure development at the level of some specific countries.
The Croatian BCO representatives were the experts from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), Ivana Madžar and Vladimir Duković.
