HAKOM at the Meeting of the WGSE Working Group

NEWS

The working group is responsible for developing technical guidelines and sharing and compatibility arrangements for radio spectrum use by various radio communications services at the European level.
 
ZAGREB, September 29, 2017 - The meeting of WGSE (Working Group Spectrum Engineering) took place in Sibiu, Romania, from September 25-to 29. HAKOM’s expert and Vice President of the Group Tomislav Bejuk took part in meeting of the working group responsible for developing technical guidelines and sharing and compatibility arrangements for radio spectrum usage by various radio communications services.
 
The ECC Report 267 report on the use of wireless medical endoscopic capsules in the 430-440 MHz band was adopted and published. The public discussion regarding three documents; the draft reports on hearing instruments in the band 1656.5-1660.5 MHz, on NGSO FSS systems in the band 10.7-12.75 / 14-14.5 GHz and  draft report amending the ECC Report 066 on the use of earth stations on board aircrafts  and nearby airports. It is also expected to open work assignments on RLANs in the 5925-6425 MHz band and discussion on organizing this work within group project teams, as well as opening a work assignment on the possible use of PMSE (Programme Making and Special Events) in the band 960-1164 MHz which is intensely used for air navigation.
