HAKOM's Experts at the 24th Festival of Information Technology Achievement INFOFEST

The 15th International Conference on Regulatory Activities in the Electronic Communications Sector was held within the scope of INFOFEST where the experts from HAKOM presented different current topics on panel discussions.
ZAGREB, September 26, 2017 - The 24th Festival of Information Technology Achievements - INFOFEST is held in Budva from September 25 to October 1 entitled "DIGITAL MOTORWAYS". It is a thematic international manifestation which also includes the 15th International Conference on Regulatory Activities in the Electronic Communications Sector. The topic of this year’s conference was „The Next Generation Regulation", organized by the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services of Montenegro (EKIP) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
The experts from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) participated in panel discussions with current topics in the aforementioned event. Gordan Šimac participated within the scope of the panel discussion entitled "Next Generation Regulation", on the topic of solving the interference in receiving DTV signals caused by the work of the LTE 800 network, Krešimir Mazor, gave lecture on "., Understanding the Challenges Towards. Implementation of the 5G Networks , Tomislav Lovrić, presented "Market Analysis and Its Impact on the Development of the NGA Network" while Stjepan Vodolšak gave a lecture on "Basic Principles for Building the NGA Networks". As part of the panel discussion Ivan Gilja gave the lecture on The Way of Calculating the Cost of Universal Postal Service.
The welcoming speech at the opening of this year's conference was held by the President of HAKOM, Mr. Dražen Lučić.
