The Works on Nevenka Topalušić Square Completed

On Wednesday, May 24, at 8 a.m. a solemn ceremony was held and memorial monument unveiled in memory of Croatian war veteran who passed away during the protests of Croatian war veterans in Savska Street.
ZAGREB, May 23, 2017–In front of the Ministry of Defence have the works of Square named after Nevenka Topalušić have been completed and the monument was unveiled in memory of the Croatian war veteran on Wednesday at 8 a.m. Nevenka Topalušić passed away during the protest of homeland war veterans in Savska Street.
In December 2015, at the same spot the plaque was unveiled and after the extensive works which started in the first half of April the benches have been built and greenery has been planted. The City of Zagreb financed the works amounting almost 300 thousand HRK.
Nevenka Topalušić was a 100 percent war - invalid of the first group, a member of the 2nd Brigade “Gromovi” and the mother of four children and she passed away on October 22, 2014.
Ana Dragija, the daughter of Mrs. Topalušić used to be HAKOM’s employee.
