Executive Director at HAKOM Mario Weber Participated in the Plenary Debate on "Digital Highway for Digital Society"
NEWSA plenary debate was held within the framework of the 40th Jubilee International Convention MIPRO, held this week in Opatija. The ceremony was attended by Dražen Lučić, President of the Council at HAKOM and Member of MIPRO, with his associates.
ZAGREB, May 24, 2017 - The opening ceremony of 40th Jubilee International Convention MIPRO 2017 was held in Opatija and the welcome speeches held by sponsors patrons and guests were followed by the awards and recognitions and eventually by the discussion on “AUTHORITY FOR DIGITAL COMPANY". The plenary session was attended by Dr. Mario Tobias Höllwarth, President of Euro Cloud Europe and Mr. Mario Weber, Executive Director of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM).The objective of the discussion was the development analysis of the digital society and the economy in the Republic of Croatia as well as the proposed measures aimed to speed up the process in order to position Croatia as an equal member of the European Union.
The ceremony was attended by Dražen Lučić, President of the Council at HAKOM and THE Member of MIPRO, with his associates.
HAKOM's experts supported these events by organizing two roundtables on "Contribution to the Digital Society's Advancement through the Development of Broadband Access in the areas of special state concern and "The Future of the 5G Network in Mobile Communication Towards a Gigabit". HAKOM's experts participated in the round table on "The introduction to digital DAB radio+ in Croatia".
