HAKOM at the Meeting of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services

The aim of the meeting of the working group is the exchange of experience between regulators from the EU Member States aimed at better regulation of the access to the postal network of the universal service provider.
ZAGREB, March 23, 2017 – Bucharest hosted the meeting of the working group of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services ERGP, responsible for regulatory accounting and price regulation. The regulatory and operational conditions for the access to the postal network were important discussion topics with an emphasis on the activities and network costs incurred in the postal network of the universal service provider during the provision of network access to other postal service providers as well as the methodology for the allocation of network costs. The aim of the meeting was the exchange of experiences between the regulatory authorities of the EU Member States aimed at better regulation of the access to the postal network of the universal service provider.
The stakeholders were the representatives of regulatory authorities from the EU Member States and candidates for membership as well as the renowned experts in the field of postal services. HAKOM’S expert Ivan Gilja took part in the meeting.
