HAKOM at the EMERG Plenary Meeting

HAKOM participated at the EMERG-Plenary Meeting in Rome on March 20.
ZAGREB, March 20, 2017 – Following the invitation of the organizer the Italian regulatory authority for electronic communications AGCOM (Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni) Rome hosted the plenary meeting of the EMERG (European Mediterranean Regulators Group). EMERG is an organization founded in 2008 in order to promote the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation in the field of electronic communications. Now the organization includes 22 countries and Croatia became its member in 2015. The objective of this year's plenary meeting was the adoption of the Annual Report 2016 and the annual Work Programme 2017. According to the adopted annual Work Programme for 2017 the EMERG’s business activities in 2017 will be organized around the following topics of common interest: broadband internet access and universal service, OTT (cross-border transmission of data), NGN (sharing network, LLU) and quality of service and user protection.
The EMERG’s plenary meeting was attended by Marko Čavlović, Assistant Director and HAKOM’s Council Secretary Ms. Natalija Boltužić.
