HAKOM at the Conference entitled "Smart Local Self-Government"

HAKOM presented the transformation of cities and municipalities in the Digital Age, i.e. in the smart cities representing the possible savings that can be achieved by such transformation.
Zagreb, 3 October 2016- On September 30 and October 1, the City of Novalja and the Association of Cities in the Republic of Croatia organized a scientific conference entitled "Smart local Self Governments ". The event, organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Public Administration was held in Novalja this year. The following topics were discussed at the meeting; reform measures for effective public administration, information and communication technology in the service of citizens, financing of regional and local self-government units, the role of local governments in making the educational policy, and currently one of the key questions: the reform of the territorial organization of the Republic of Croatia. HAKOM was represented by Mr. Mario Weber, Executive Director at HAKOM who introduced the transformation of cities and municipalities in the Digital Age / smart cities representing the possible savings that can be achieved by such transformation.
