The presentation of the study “Croatian Natural Resources and Cultural Goods – Protection and Responsible Development”

In addition to Mr. Ignac Lovrek and Mr. Darko Parić, the President of the Council of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), Dražen Lučić, also participated in the preparation of the part of the study dedicated to electronic communications.
ZAGREB, 8 September 2016 – The Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences (HAZU) and its Committee for the Protection of Goods of National Interest published a study entitled “Croatian Natural Resources and Cultural Goods – Protection and Responsible Development”. This study, which is divided into two editions by topics, the Croatian Natural Resources and the Croatian Cultural Goods, was presented on Thursday at the premises of HAZU by the President of HAZU, Mr. Živko Kusić, FCA.
The first part of the study entitled the “Croatian Natural Resources” covers almost all of the most important natural resources of the Republic of Croatia. In addition to Mr. Ignac Lovrek and Mr. Darko Parić, the President of the Council of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), Dražen Lučić, also participated in the preparation of the part of the study dedicated to electronic communications. That part of the study was partially prepared on the basis of publicly available information on markets which are published by HAKOM. The study is important for HAKOm and the electronic communications market because it stresses the importance of electronic communications for the development of the economy and the society as a whole and the importance of the RF spectrum as a limited resource of the Republic of Croatia. The study is prepared in such a manner to serve as a basis for the development of the new energy and economic strategy for the long-term development of the Republic of Croatia.
