The conference will include a workshop on the “Internet of Things – IoT” and a presentation by Mr. Mario Weber, Executive Director of the Croatian Regulatory Agency for Network Industries (HAKOM).
ZAGREB, 14 July 2016 – The Split Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FESB) organized in Split the first International Conference on Computer and Energy Sciences entitled “SpliTech 2016”. This three day conference, which was opened on Wednesday, gathered many scientists and experts, representatives of the academic community, industry and public institutions with a view to exchanging knowledge in the area of e-health, smart cities and energies.
The conference will include a workshop on the “Internet of Things – IoT”, which will be held this Thursday, and a presentation by Mr. Mario Weber, Executive Director of the Croatian Regulatory Agency for Network Industries (HAKOM). During the workshop the participants will learn about challenges faced by companies on their path towards standardization of their IoT products, and students will hear about possibilities for cooperation, practice and employment.
