HAKOM at the meeting of the Electronic Communications Committee

The topics of the meeting of the Electronic Communications Committee (ECC) will include the use of the RF spectrum for broadband systems for public safety and disaster recovery, the use of the GSM, UMTS and LTE systems on airplanes and vessels and the use of short range devices.
 
ZAGREB, 14 June 2016 – The 42nd meeting of the Electronic Communications Committee started today in Sweden’s capital, Stockholm. The participants will discuss and develop the electronic communications policy in the European context taking into account European and international legislation.  he topics of the meeting, which ends on 17 June, will include the use of the RF spectrum for broadband systems for public safety and disaster recovery, the use of the GSM, UMTS and LTE systems on airplanes and vessels and the use of short range devices.
 
The meeting is attended by representatives of regulatory authorities, international institutions and businesses. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) is represented at the meeting by the head of the Radiocommunications Department, Ms. Ivančica Sakal.
