HAKOM at the Meeting of the European Group CPG19

The common positions were agreed on and tasks were distributed at the first meeting of the European working group responsible for the preparation of the World Radio Communication Conference (WRC-19)
ZAGREB, April 13 2016 - The first meeting of the European group CPG19 (Conference Preparatory Group) was held in Bonn. The group is responsible for the preparation of the World Radio Communication Conference 2019 (WRC-19).
The group’s task was to prepare and agree the European common positions (ECP) for WRC-19. Since this was the first meeting of the group in a new four-year cycle it was necessary to agree upon the distribution of 33 tasks from different radio communication areas which will be the subject of WRC-19. The work was divided into 3 to 4 and their chairmen were appointed.
Mr. Alexander Kuehn from Germany has already been elected as the Chairman of the group CPG-19 and the Vice-Chairman was elected as well. Moreover the European coordinators for all the WRC-19 tasks were elected. The meeting which ends on April 14 2016, the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was represented by Krunoslav Bejuk, a senior expert for microwave and satellite links.
