HAKOM's aid programme: designs for software applications and services aimed at broadband development requested

HAKOM launched the fifth public invitation for the submission of designs for the development of web applications and services aimed at speeding up the development of broadband in the Republic of Croatia.
ZAGREB, 8 April 2016 –The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) would like to inform all interested parties that it has published the fifth round of the public invitation for the submission of designs for the development of web applications and services aimed at promoting and harmonizing the development of broadband in the Republic of Croatia, in particular in areas of special state concern, hilly and mountainous areas and on the islands.
The public invitation is aimed at the collection of designs for software applications and services supporting the development of the economy and quality of life in the Republic of Croatia, that is, supporting the development of areas of alert/rescue, e-Security and e-government.
Following the previous four rounds during which many designs were submitted the implementation of which will contribute to the improvement of the quality of life in the Republic of Croatia, in this new invitation HAKOM would like to emphasise the importance of content as one of the important factors for broadband development.
The invitation is open to all interested legal and natural persons – state administration authorities, local communities, educational and research institutions, private and public companies, non-profit organizations and citizens. It is important to mention that designs may also be submitted by participants of the previous four public invitations.
