HAKOM at a meeting of an ERGP working group

The working group deals with issues of cross border parcel traffic and with regulatory experiences on the postal services markets of EU Member States, with a special emphasis on changes in the regulatory framework for parcel traffic and services related to e-trade.
ZAGREB, 16 March 2016 – The French national regulatory authority for electronic communications and postal services (ARCEP) organized in Paris a meeting of a working group of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP).
The discussions at the meeting covered several documents concerning the existing and future alignment of the regulatory framework on cross-border parcel traffic, and on parcel traffic on domestic markets of each EU Member State. They also discussed the results of the joint activities of BEREC and ERGP working group in 2015, knowledge transfer, regulatory experiences and positive practice between the electronic communications and postal services markets in the EU, and their possible application on e-trade services.
The meeting was attended by representatives of regulatory authorities of EU Member States and candidate countries who are known experts in the postal services sector. An expert from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), Andrej Sardelić, who is the head of the Postal Services Department, also actively participated in the meeting.
