HAKOM’s Experts at the Project Team Emergency Services Meeting

The most important topic discussed at the meeting was the problem resolution of transnational emergency calls, the A-GNSS implementation as well as the broadband Internet providers’ and OTT services providers’ obligations related to the user’s location.
ZAGREB, February 10, 2016 – Following the invitation of the organizer CEPT/ECC - European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations / Electronic Communications Committee) the 12th meeting of the Project Team Emergency Services (ECC PT ES) was held in Copenhagen. The topic discussed at the meeting was the problem resolution of transnational emergency calls, the A-GNSS implementation as well as the broadband Internet providers’ obligations and OTT services providers’ obligations (Over the Top) related to the user’s location. Within the same organization a meeting of the working group for technical regulations and interconnection standards was held (ECC PT TRIS) regarding the PSTN/ISDN migration on to the IP network.
The representatives of 13 EU regulatory authorities, the renowned experts in the field of electronic communications participated at the meeting. The Experts Andro Marčev and Nikša Crnčević represented the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM)
