HAKOM at the Meeting of the WGSE Working Group

At the meeting of the working group responsible for the radio frequency management the radio communications experts will discuss the topics in the field of mobile, fixed and satellite communications as well as short-range devices (SRD).
 
ZAGREB, January 26, 2016 – Amsterdam is hosting the 72nd WGSE Working Group Spectrum Engineering responsible for developing the technical base for using the radio frequency spectrum referring to the studies related to the allocation of radio frequency spectrum among various radio communication technologies. At the meeting, 56 RF experts will be discussing the topics in the field of mobile, fixed and satellite communications, as well as short-range devices (SRD). Mr Krunoslav Bejuk, Vice Chairman of the WGSE Working Group will represent the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM).
 
Starting with this meeting, after the World Radio-Communication Conference (WRC 2015) held in November, the WGSE Working Group started a new for- year cycle research of finding the effective ways of the radio frequency spectrum usage. In addition to the tasks arising from the WRC results, the goal of the WGSE Working Group is to respond to the EC Mandate as well as to the demands of the industry which uses radio frequency spectrum.
It is expected to adopt the report on the use of radio microphones and video links (PMSE) in the L band and the bands below 3400 MHz at the meeting. Also, the plan is to adopt a new report on the characterization of unwanted emissions, and on radio applications in traffic and as well as short-range devices (SRD).
