HAKOM at the BEREC's Expert Working Group Meeting (Remedies EWG)

The second phase of monitoring the implementation of BEREC’s common positions was the topic discussed at the meeting as well as the report which is the result of data collection and processing.
ZAGREB, October 21, 2015 – Brussels hosted a meeting of Expert Working Group Remedies EWG who is in charge of monitoring the implementation of BEREC’s common positions (Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications).The topics of the meeting were the 3a wholesale markets (wholesale local access market provided at a fixed location), 3b (wholesale central access market provided at a fixed location for mass -markets products) and 4 (wholesale market of high-quality provided at a fixed location).
The most important topic of the meeting was the second phase of monitoring the implementation of BEREC’s common positions as well as the report which is the result of data collection and processing. This year the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) has provided data on the implementation of common positions on the market while data for 3a and 3b markets were provided last year. The important topic at the meeting was also a qualitative analysis of cases laid down in Article 7 / 7a of the Framework Directive and the Draft documentation which summarizes the former experience related to the above mentioned cases and give recommendations in order to make the whole procedure more efficient.
The participants were the representatives of regulatory authorities of the EU Member States and BEREC. HAKOM's expert Tomislav Lovrić, Senior Expert for Market Analysis participated at the meeting.
