HAKOM Organized the Conference on “Online Safety for Children”

The event is held within the celebration programme of the European Month of Network and Information Security and is intended for teachers of both primary and secondary schools and for all persons who want to use their knowledge to help children to be safer on the Internet.
 
ZAGREB, October 20, 2015 –, Within the celebration of the European Month of Network and Information Security the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) holds a conference entitled “Online Safety for Children” in Zagreb on Wednesday, 21 October. The event is held at the premises of the European Commission Representation in Zagreb, August Cesarec Street 4, starting at 9.30 am.
 
At the Conference the threats that children are exposed to when using the Internet will be presented as well as the ways of reducing the online threats by expanding knowledge and using the safety tools. The target audience are teachers in primary and secondary schools but also for the persons who want to use their knowledge to help children to be safer on the Internet.
 
This Conference is a part of the European initiative related to the European Month of Network and Information Security (https://cybersecuritymonth.eu/) and it is a part of all other activities related to the celebration of the month.
