HAKOM participated at the meeting of a joint working group of BEREC and ERGP dealing with the issues related to the exchange of regulatory experience and positive practise on the electronic communications and postal services market with particular emphasis on changes to the Regulatory Framework of the services related to the” e- commerce".
ZAGREB, 15 September 2015 The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) organized the meeting of a joint Working Groups of BEREC and ERPG, an association of European Regulators for Electronic Communications and Postal Services in Brussels.
Draft document within the framework of a joint working group on changes in the regulatory framework of postal services and electronic communications related to "e-commerce" was the most important issue of the meeting. In addition to the above-mentioned issue the transmission of knowledge, BEREC experience within its regulatory framework as well as its positive practice on the electronic communications market and eventually the possibility of the application of all previously mentioned items on the postal services market were issues discussed as well.
The aim of the initial meeting of a joint working group was to prepare reports and documents as well as guidelines for joint action of both associations of the European regulatory authorities in accordance with the requirements and intentions of the European Commission to remove cross-border barriers in the parcel transportation and service development in the field of "e-commerce".
The representatives of regulatory authorities from the EU Member States, the renowned experts in the field of postal and electronic communications services attended the meeting. HAKOM’s expert Andrej Sardelić, Head of Postal Services Department actively participated at the meeting.
