HAKOM at the 8th ERGP’s Session

HAKOM participated at the 8th ERGP Plenary Session which was held in Vilnius on July 1 and 2 with the central topics such as the protection of users’ interests and the promotion of the effective competition in the EU single market.
ZAGREB, 6 July 2015 - In the organization of the Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania (RRT) the 8th Plenary Session of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services ( ERGP) was held in Vilnius Lithuania. Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was represented by Mr. Dražen Lučić, President of the Council, Mr. Marijan Bolarić , Member of the Council and Mr Dalibor Lončar, Assistant Director.
The issues that were discussed at the Session were as follows: regulatory accounting and price regulation, implementation and development of universal service, quality of service and the end –user satisfaction, the market development and the regulatory effects as well as cross-border e-commerce parcels delivery in the EU digital single market.
Within the scope of the 8th ERGP’s Plenary Session a joint workshop of ERGP members on the postal network access was held, aiming to have a comprehensive overview of the access and to exchange their views in detail due to the different regulatory approach compared to the postal network in the EU Member States In addition to it, the topics that will be included in the ERGP work programme for the year 2016, were discussed at the workshop.
