HAKOM Awarded for an Outstanding Contribution to the Development of Communication Technology and MIPRO Convention

HAKOM's experts are actively participating at the workshops and the round tables, as the authors and reviewers of scientific papers, as well as the chairpersons of the meeting within the framework of CTI at the 38th International ICT Convention in Opatija.
ZAGREB, 27, May, 2015 In Opatija, the 38th International Convention MIPRO ICT was officially opened. The Convention has brought together a number of local and foreign experts operating within the scope of the information and communication technology as well as the related high technologies in the fields of economy, education, science and administration., Mr. Mornar, the Minister of MSES in the Government of the Republic of Croatia opened the Convention. Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), whose experts are actively participating at the workshops and round tables, as well as the authors and reviewers of scientific papers and the chairpersons of meetings within the scope of CTI, was awarded by MIPRO charter for the companies, institutions and local administration. On behalf of HAKOM, Mr. Dražen Lučić, President of the Council of HAKOM received the MIPRO charter, a recognition given for an outstanding contribution to the development of communication technology and MIPRO Conventions.
More than 370 works by the authors from 42 countries will be presented within the MIPRO programme including the ten counselling / conferences in specific technological areas. The paper entitled ˝ Violation of User Privacy by IPTV Packet Sniffing and Home Network” will be presented by Mr. Siniša Vukojević, a Senior Information Technology Expert in HAKOM.
Mr. Mario Weber, Executive Director and .Mr.Velimir Švedek, Senior Communication Services Expert were chairpersons of the meeting within the framework of CTI, while Mr. Mario Weber and Mr Dražen Lučić were some of the reviewers of the papers in the same field.
Mr.Velimir Švedek, will be actively participating at the round table on the topic “Broadband Development Strategy in the Republic of Croatia in the Period from 2016 to 2020”, on Thursday, May 28. Mr.Vladimir Žuti , Senior Infrastructure Expert participated at the workshop on the topic of “Regulation Measures to Reduce the Cost of Deploying High Speed Electronic Communications Network”,. HAKOM's experts also participated at the round table on the topic of “Applying Contemporary Mobile Networks (LTE) within the Public Safety System”.
