“Retreat” for regulators organized by ITU

HAKOM participated at the “retreat” for regulators, that is, a gathering entitled “ICT Regulators' Leadership Retreat – Getting Ready for Tomorrow: Regulation in a Data-Driven Connected World“, which was organized last week by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
Zagreb – 27 March 2015 - Because of the results of its work and reputation that HAKOM enjoys in the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the President of the Council of HAKOM, Dražen Lučić, was one of the selected heads of regulatory authorities that participated in an event organized by ITU in order to discuss the future of regulation on the electronic communications market and future challenges.
About thirty participants from all continents gathered at the event entitled “ICT Regulators' Leadership Retreat – Getting Ready for Tomorrow: Regulation in a Data-Driven Connected World” to discuss the future of regulation on the electronic communications market. This will also be the focus of the Global Symposium of Regulators that will take place in June this year in Gabon. The gathering was presided by Mr. Brahima Sanou, one of five heads of ITU and Director of the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) of ITU.
