HAKOM at 7th meeting of ENRRB

HAKOM is participating in the 7th meeting of the European Network of Rail Regulatory Bodies, which is taking place in Athens on 18 and 19 March.
ZAGREB, 19 March 2015 – The 7th meeting of the European Network of Rail Regulatory Bodies is taking place in Athens on 18 and 19 March. This is an advisory body to the European Commission discussing issues and practice in the rail services sector with a view to achieving alignment at the European Union level.
The topics of the meeting include the current status of implementing measures of the Fourth Railway Package, the implementation of the RECAST directive, freight corridors and the corresponding role of regulatory authorities, the status of development of databases necessary for the exchange of information and data between the regulatory authorities.
In addition to the above-mentioned discussions, presentations will also be held by the Austrian, German, Italian and French regulatory authority and by IRG-Rail (Independent Regulator’s Group – Rail). HAKOM is represented at the meeting by Nikola Popović, a member of the Council of HAKOM, and Nataša Oliva Prgeša, senior expert for rail services.
