HAKOM, Judicial Academy and TAIEX hold a seminar on the EU regulatory framework in the area of electronic communications
September 20-21, 2010, Zagreb – In cooperation with the Judicial Academy and EC TAIEX Office, HAKOM organized a seminar on the EU regulatory framework in the area of electronic communications and its implementation in the Member States. The seminar gathered participants from the Croatian Administrative Court, misdemeanor courts and HAKOM management and professionals. Through presentations by Croatian speakers, judges of the Administrative and Misdemeanor Court, and guest speakers from different EU Member States, participants were acquainted with the basic characteristics of the regulatory framework in the area of electronic communications, and with the role of national courts in its implementation, in particular with respect to the court control of legality of decisions taken by regulatory bodies, and the sanctioning of those that breach the rules set by the regulatory framework.
