ITU Plenipotentiary Conference

The 14th ITU Plenipotentiary Conference is taking place in the Republic of Korea. HAKOM is attending the conference as one of the representatives of the Republic of Croatia.
ZAGREB, 20 October 2014 –- The 14th ITU Plenipotentiary Conference is taking place from 20 October to 7 November in Busan, Republic of Korea. Representatives of 193 member states of ITU will meet after four years since the last conference held in Guadalajara, Mexico, to elect new leaders and agree upon guidelines for future development of telecommunications, including Internet management.
In addition to representatives of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, the delegation of the Republic of Croatia also includes representatives of HAKOM, that is, Dražen Lučić, Chairman of the Council, Domagoj Jurjević, Deputy Chairman of the Council, Mario Weber, Director and Marko Čavlović, Assistant Director. This Conference is also an excellent opportunity for the establishment and deepening of cooperation between HAKOM and regulatory authorities of non-European countries.
