HAKOM at the ESRI User Conference

Split is hosting a conference of users of geo-information systems, where HAKOM presented its portal on broadband accessibility in the Republic of Croatia.
ZAGREB, 13 October 2014 – The ESRI conference of users of geo-information systems is taking place in Split from 12 to 15 October. The conference is attended by five hundred participants from all continents, except Australia. The President of the Council, Mr. Dražen Lučić, gave an introductory presentation at the conference entitled "Geographic Information Systems for Faster Development of Broadband Communications in Republic of Croatia" and he also participated in a panel discussion on „Broadband networks and the role of the regulatory agencies in fixed telecommunications management".
HAKOM developed several applications based on geo-information systems in cooperation with Croatian companies, and it is currently developing others in cooperation with the State Geodetic Administration and competent ministries.
