Announcement of a round table on “The Future of Internet Management” to be held at the International MIPRO Convention

What will happen to Internet regulation? Will all stakeholders be able to influence Internet management, in accordance with their interests and obligations? This topic will be discussed at a round table entitled "HAKOM- Future of Internet Management", which is organised under the auspices of the MIPRO conference by the Programme Committee of the MIPRO Convention and HAKOM.
ZAGREB, 22 May 2014 – A round table on the future of internet management will be held on 28 May at 16:30 at the Admiral Hotel in Opatija within the framework of the International MIPRO Convention. The round table will be presided by HAKOM and it will gather representatives from the state management, academic and technical community, civil society and users as well as representatives from the private sector, that is, companies present on the Croatian market – operators and producers of equipment, solutions and services.
The round table was divided into two topics, the internet management model and network neutrality, and it is expected to encourage further discussion and consideration of important Internet-related issues in the RoC.
