HAKOM opens offers for “e-Police” application

12 offers for the development of “e-Police” application were received at public opening. The application is designed for police officers to provide them with access to the IT system of the Ministry of the Interior at all times.
ZAGREB, 14 January 2014 – HAKOM held today a public opening of 12 received offers in the public tender for the development of e-Police application, designed for police officers to enable them to carry out their duties out of the office by means of electronic communications. The objective is to enable constant access to the IT system of the Ministry of the Interior to upload and download data. After a detailed analysis of all offers, the most favourable one will be selected in accordance with the Public Procurement Act,.
The aim of the development of applications is to contribute to a faster development of the “broadband eco-system” – broadband networks, applications benefiting the public and IT infrastructure such as servers and user terminals. So far, HAKOM has launched the development of web applications in the area of health-care, protection and rescue, education, agriculture, e-commerce and e-government services. This public tender stands out because for the first time an idea in the area of e-security is implemented.
