Instruction for the issuance of the license for the use of the radio frequency spectrum on a vessel

The application for the issuance of the license for the use of the radio frequency spectrum on a vessel can be submitted to the Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM) via the e-Vessels  (Instructions for Use) application.
Note: e-Vessels application and Instructions for Use are in Croatian only.

The e-Vessels web application enables the electronic receipt of applications and the issuance of the license for the use of the radio frequency spectrum on vessels. This user-friendly application considerably shortens the duration of the license issuance procedure – to only two to three days. The service is available to the general public, and it can be accessed via HAKOM’s website.

When submitting an application for the issuance of the above license via the e-Vessels application, the following is required:
  1. An active user account on HAKOM’s website
If the applicant does not have an active user account, he has to register first to be able to submit the application for the issuance of the license.
  1. A copy of the OIB (personal identification number) Certificate in the electronic form
If the applicant has already previously submitted the certificate or another public document containing the OIB data to HAKOM, the applicant is not required to re-submit it.
  1. A copy of a valid Vessel’s Navigation License or a Vessel’s Register Certificate  in the electronic form
If the applicant does not possess the above, it is necessary to enclose a copy of the License Plate Reservation Certificate issued by a port authority or a copy of the Decision on the Name of the Vessel issued by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure.

If you wish to apply in hard copy to HAKOM’s postal address, you can find the required information and forms here.
