HAKOM invites all Stakeholders willing to participate in Public Discussion on the 3rd set of joint European proposals for the ITU World Radio communication Conference, open until September, 20

ZAGREB, September 6, 2019 - The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) will organize a World Radio communication Conference (WRC) with the aim of amending Radio Regulations (RR) and making decisions on any Radio communication topic of worldwide interest. The World Radio communication Conference will be held in October and November 2019 and will be attended by representatives from 193 ITU Member Countries.
 
The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) has announced a Public Consultation on the 3rd set of Joint European Proposals (ECPs) for 48 CEPT Member Countries. Following the preparation and adoption of the ECP, Member States will declare their support for the common.

European proposals and will accordingly act as State and within regional organizations at the WRC. The Council of the EU and the European Parliament shall adopt the Decision on Common Positions for the WRC based on the opinion of the Working Party on Radio Spectrum Management Strategy.
 
Within its legal competences, HAKOM prepares the views of the Republic of Croatia for participation at the WRC, participating in the work of Working Groups and is an integral part of the Croatian delegation at the Conference. Since the results of the WRC can have a significant impact on the way spectrum is managed and used as well as on  the development of wireless technologies and services, the purpose of this discussion is to gather stakeholder opinions on Croatian and common European proposals on the agenda of the Conference.
