Public Tender Opening held for DVB-T2 Multiplex M1, M2 and L1

Within the deadline for public invitation, one Tender was received by Odašiljači i veze d.o.o. The decision on issuing the license shall be brought no later than July 12, 2019.
ZAGREB, 18 June 2019 – In accordance with the Tendering Process for DVB-T2 Multiplex M1, M2 and L1, Tender Opening Procedure was held on June, 17 2019.
A new DVB-T2 standard and h.265 / HEVC coding system will be used in the above-mentioned multiplexes. The transfer to more affective DVB-T2 and h.265 / HEVC system settings will enable continued broadcasting of existing TV content of (HDTV) high resolution for all broadcasters implementation of content and additional services for the radio frequency spectrum allocation.
After the completion and assessment of received Tender, HAKOM shall bring the decision on issuing the licence no later than July, 12 2019.
