Applications for Wi-Fi4EU Grant Allocation

The number of 216 pre-registered local self-government units in the areas of the Republic of Croatia will have the opportunity to win voucher during the first call. The criterion of the value voucher allocation is sequence of registration.

ZAGREB, April 2, 2019 - On April 4, 2019, at 1 p.m. the European Commission will open a second public invitation for granting the WB4EU allocation, where all local self-government units can be registered as well those who did not win a coupon at the first call in November last year. The voucher rating criterion will be the order of the application, and 3400 value vouchers will be distributed.
                                                   
The largest number of value vouchers possible to gain by the Member State has been increased in this call from 8% to 15%, amounting 510 vouchers, totalling EURO 7.65 million.
 
In the territory of the Republic of Croatia the portal registered 440 local self-government units and due to successful application in the first call, the largest possible number of vouchers (224) has been won, and in the second case, the possibility of issuing a value vouchers will have 216 local self-government units. The total budget available for proposals, selected on the basis of a second call amounts to EUR 51 million at the EU level, and the deadline for submitting applications is April 5, 2019, 5 p.m.
