The second Conference was held on the Topic of the "Human Rights Dialogue aimed to improve Consumer Protection Policy in the Republic of Croatia"

The conference was organized with the aim of improving the activities undertaken in relation to the protection of consumer rights in the Republic of Croatia and strengthening the cooperation of all stakeholders in this process.

ZAGREB, February 27, 2019 - A second conference was held on Tuesday, 26 February, organized by the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts (MINGO) in Zagreb, on the topic of the "Human Rights Dialogue to Improve Consumer Protection Policy in the Republic of Croatia". More than 50 representatives of consumer protection associations and various institutions participated in the conference which was organized with the aim of improving the activities undertaken in relation to consumer protection in the Republic of Croatia and  in reference to strengthening of the cooperation of all stakeholders in this process.
 
The first plenary session of the Second Inter-ethnic Dialogue on Consumer Rights Protection Policy in the Republic of Croatia presents the activities of stakeholders or measures, planned to be implemented as well as the possibilities of financing projects from different sources of funding, including the EU. In the second part, an interactive workshop was held, attended by HAKOM's specialists, in order to respond to the usage of funds to finance consumer projects and to communicate consumer issues in the digital society.

President of the Council of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) Tonko Obuljen held a plenary panel discussion on “co-operation between HAKOM and consumer protection associations.
