A Bilateral Meeting between HAKOM and Polish Regulator UKE

HAKOM hosted a Polish regulator at the two-day bilateral meeting


ZAGREB, August 31, 2018 – HAKOM organized a two-day bilateral meeting with the representatives of Polish regulatory authority, Office of Electronic Communications (UKE).

UKE is the Polish regulatory authority responsible for the regulation of electronic communications and postal services market as well as radiofrequency spectrum. In addition, it is responsible for monitoring the product conformity by emitting the electromagnetic rays or being sensitive to it, including the radio equipment placed on the market in the Republic of Poland.

It is a bilateral meeting at the highest level, attended by the Presidents of the Council both at UKE and HAKOM as well as the experts in the field of electronic communications market.

The discussion topics were the following: market regulation 3a, 3b and 4, a margin squeeze test. Roam like At Home (RLAH) implementation commitments and net neutrality as well as joint investment with the EU funds.

A brief separate meeting was held between the Presidents of Council at HAKOM and UKE. The aim was to exchange the experience in reference to the market regulation and strengthening friendly relations and cooperation.
