HAKOM has drafted Report on the Implementation of Regulation (EU) 2015/2120 on Net Neutrality

National regulatory authorities are obliged to draft reports once a year and submit them to the European Commission and BEREC.

ZAGREB, June 29, 2018 - A report on the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2015/2120 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015 laying down measures concerning open Internet access was published on the Official Website of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) on Unified Services and User Rights 2002/22 / EC related to the electronic communications networks and services. National regulatory authorities are obliged to publish monitoring reports and results once a year and submit it to the European Commission and BEREC. Therefore, following the BEREC Recommendation the report describes the monitoring procedure as well as other activities carried out by HAKOM in order to provide open access to the Internet in accordance with the rules stipulated bz the Regulation. The main emphasis was put on the following issues: protection of open access to the Internet (Article 3), transparency measures for ensuring the access to the open Internet (Article 4), supervision and enforcement (Article 5), as well as prescribed sanctions for non-compliance with the Regulation (Art. 6).
