HAKOM at the EaPeReg Plenary Meeting

HAKOM participated at the EaPeReg Plenary Meeting held in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.
ZAGREB, April 26, 2018 – EaPeReg - Eastern Partnership for Electronic Communications Regulator) held a meeting on April 26. The organization is consisted of 6 countries Ukraine (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) united in the Eastern Partnership Programme (EaP). In addition to these countries, representatives of EaPeReg and BEREC Member Countries (SPRK - Latvia, RRT - Lithuania, RTR - Austria, Czech Republic - CTU, BnetzA - Germany, UKE - Poland, ANCOM - Sweden, Macedonia - AEC) as well as representatives of the European Commission and representatives of the European Bank. HAKOM joined this organization in 2017.
This year's EaPeRega work is chaired by the Ukrainian Regulatory Authority (NCCIR - National Commission for State Regulation of Communications and Informatization).
The main topic of the EaPeRega plenary sessions was discussion on the EaPeReg Work Programme for 2018 as well as the report and action plan of the EaPeReg working groups (RF spectrum, benchmark, legal framework and roaming working group). The changes to the Action Plan EaPeReg 2017-2020 as well as organizational issues (amendments to the Protocol on cooperation, especially regarding the position of the EU countries and other ad hoc associates, terminology issues, etc.).
