HAKOM at the meeting of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services ERGP

HAKOM participated in the meeting of the Cross-border parcels delivery working group dealing with the issues of cross-border package traffic, practice on the postal services market of the EU Member States and Membership Candidates, with particular emphasis on existing final activities of the legislative procedure for the adoption of the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU on cross-border parcel delivery.

 
ZAGREB, March 15, 2018 - Following the invitation of the organizer the Belgian Institute of Postal Services and Telecommunications (BIPT) Brussels hosted the meeting of the "Cross-border parcels delivery", European Regulators Group for Postal Services ERPG.
 
At the meeting, several ERGP documents were discussed within the framework of the final activities of the legislative procedure for the adoption of the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU on cross-border parcel delivery and the expected implementation of activities and measure. The special topics were after the integral text of the Regulation is published in the EU Official Gazette. ERGP activities reported on the former period as well as discussion of the work plan and program and the activities of this ERGP working group in 2018 were highlighted.
 
Participants of this meeting were the representatives of the national regulatory bodies of the EU Member States and candidates for membership, renowned experts in the field of postal services. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was represented by Andrej Sardelić, Head of the Postal Services Department.
