The roundtable discussed on research result within the scope of the project EU Kids Online on the media habits of children and their parents whereby HAKOM was partner in its implementation
 
ZAGREB, February 22, 2018 – Following the invitation of the organizer Association for Communication and Media Culture (DKMK) in Zagreb hosted  a roundtable on "Media literacy in the perspective of the new curriculum: Opportunities and Threats". The roundtable discussed on research result within the scope of the project EU Kids Online on the media habits  of children and their parents whereby HAKOM was partner in its implementation. In addition, the latest DKMK projects were presented which are still to be implemented in 2018. It refers to the project "Mind Over Media - Effective Analysis of Propaganda", which has been carried out  by the DKMK together with six EU partners, co-ordinated by the Evens Foundation and financial support from the European Commission  as well as  project "Media literacy combating hate groups and electronic violence", funded by the Ministry of Science and Education in 2018.
