HAKOM at the Meeting on the Topic of Analysing the Development of Digital Society in the Republic of Croatia

Following the invitation of the organizer the Central State Office for the Development of the Digital Society, the meeting was held on the topic related to the DESI Index and measures necessary to help the Republic of Croatia to develop in all areas determined by DESI scale.
ZAGREB, November 15, 2017 – Following the invitation of the organizer the European Commission (EC), initiated by Central State Office for the Development of the Digital Society a meeting was held on the topic of analysing the development of digital society in the Republic of Croatia. In addition the meeting was attended by the representatives of the EC, the representatives of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), the Central State Development Office for Development of Digital Society and the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union in Brussels.
At the meeting, a special emphasis was put on the DESI index and measures necessary for the development of the Republic of Croatia to develop in all areas determined by DESI scale. HAKOM was represented by Ana Mijalić, Senior Expert for Market Analysis.
Digital Economy and Society Index, DESI) complex indicator of economic and social digitization developed by the EC aimed at evaluation of the Member States oriented to digitization of the economy and society as a whole.
